EPL: We’re not at our best yet – Guardiola warns title rivals after 3-0 Palace win

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has warned Premier League title rivals that his team is not playing at their very best yet.

Guardiola was speaking after a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the first half with a powerful header, before Phil Foden made it 2-0 in the second half.

Haaland grabbed his second from the penalty spot with the match all but won.

The result ensures City are now only two points behind leaders Arsenal and one point ahead of third-placed Aston Villa.

“We’re not at our top yet… We see it in some moments during the season. But every time, we can be better and better,” Guardiola told reporters.

“We are not in an ideal position, we prefer to be 1st in the Premier League, but we are close to the top of the league.

“In the Champions League we are in a good position with the problems that we had.”
